Larry and Meeghan — Do you guys ever get holidays off? Or are you always covering these types of events, at all hours?
July 5th, 2012 at 10:12 am
We have a list of holidays on the wall of the Photo Cave and we split all 7 of them up between the two of us, since yes the paper still comes out the day after a holiday and we do always tend to need photos in it. There are some VERY rare cases when we won’t be covering anything “live” on a holiday and we will just be on call in case something blows up. And yes we do tend work all hours…especially Larry who sleeps next to a scanner and loves to cover those late night fires.
