FRAMES Photo Challenge #51: Circle(s)

Whoa, sorry for the challenge delay, it’s been crazy busy here. Okay so this one is a little odd but I think…no I KNOW that you all can shoot the heck out of this challenge.

FRAMES Photo Challenge #51: Circles

Your challenge, if you choose to accept it, is to take a photograph where the basic shape of a circle(s) is clearly shown somewhere in the frame. This may be a circular object, multiple objects, or a group of items forming some type of circle. Now I’m not going to get all technical, it doesn’t have to be a “true” circle, just makes sure it’s circular in shape.

Trust me, this is EASY, look around you right now, there are circles EVERYWHERE.

Take some photos this week, pick out your best three and share them with us. I’ll post what we get and choose a few to be printed in the Kitsap Sun.

A recap of challenge rules and upload instructions will be posted at the end of this post. If you have any questions, email me:, don’t call me because I am never in the office to return calls.

Here are a few photos from our archives to get you thinking:

***To recap: Every week or so we will post a new photography “challenge” to help build on all of our current photography skills and to encourage everyone to get out and get shooting (cameras not guns). While we encourage you to shoot the challenge in the week that it is assigned, we will however accept entries taken prior to the challenge assignment date.

When you’ve got your favorite shot, login to the Kitsap Sun Your Media Site (if you don’t already have a login, you can quickly set it one up) or click the “Kitsap Frames Photo Challenge Entries” button over there on the right side of the page and upload your image to the Kitsap Frames Photo Challenge Channel (the channels run along the left hand side of the page, again if you can’t seem to get it into the channel just upload it normally and send me an email and I’ll move it).
