PHOTOS: Want To Show Off Your Kitsap Photos?
January 6th, 2010 by Derek SheppardYou may have heard of this little thing called Twitter? No? I can’t explain how it works in 140 characters, so it’s really not worth the effort. On to my point…The Kitsap Peninsula Visitor & Convention Bureau tweeted this afternoon that it’s looking for Kitsap photos.
I asked them to e-mail me some more details, and here’s what Lindsay Jorgensen wrote back:
I just received your direct message on Twitter, thank you for the inquiry. The Kitsap Peninsula Visitor & Convention Bureau is basically trying to freshen up our look a bit by requesting images of and from the community. We are looking for anything from sporting events, fundraisers, scenic shots, pretty much anything that represents the beauty of the Kitsap Peninsula and the people who reside here. Credit will be given to those who submit photos. We would love to be able to use these for web, print, facebook, etc.
