PHOTO/VIDEO: SKHS Band Marching in the Rose Parade

Did you catch the South Kitsap High School band on TV during the Rose Parade this weekend? If not, you can catch them here, as reporter Chris Henry followed the band through the day. Meegan was there, too, so you should probably head over and check out her photo gallery, don’t you think?

I was a band kid in high school. Thankfully for me, anyway, we didn’t march much. (I was a French horn player, and didn’t much care for marching material. I also played trumpet sometimes.) Anyway, knowing a good marching band when I see and hear one, I send a hearty congrats to the SK band. They sounded awesome.
