Kellie Talbot, an
artist from Bothell, drew inspiration from some of Bremerton’s most
colorful local signage and created a collection worth visiting on
the web.
I thought they were photos, at first. You can see the whole group of them, as well as her other work, here.
The work and the signs, for me bring to mind the old Helms Bakery trucks I remember seeing as a kid growing up in a Los Angeles suburb. Then there was the neon “Jesus Saves” sign, Bob’s Big Boy and RC Cola. What does it remind you of?
