Paxton Update

August 21st, 2012 by terrybenish

Monday night James Paxton raised his record to 8-4. He went six innings, gave up seven hits and two walks, allowing two runs and had six strikeouts. Ninety six pitches, sixty strikes.

Finishing strong, slightly more than a strikeout per inning, walks too high at 48, only 5 home runs allowed.

Hultzen has struggled, win loss of 1-2 at Tacoma, but in 41 1/3 innings 39 hits, 29 walks, 50 ks and only 2 homeruns allowed. Probably has been rushed a bit, and was actually shut down for ten days.
