Other Horrific Decisions In Franchise History
February 20th, 2012 by terrybenishMarc at USSMariner resurrects the Jimmy Presley for Edgar idiocy and other franchise low spots. Best of the house of horrors that was the Kingdome years.

It is funny now, sort of like taking a maul to your funny bone. Let’s laugh before we cry kind of thing.
When you say what in the world does that have to do with now? Well a couple of things. Chuck Armstrong who I refer to religiously as Woodenhead was here then in the same role as now. Sort of bad thinking leads to lots more bad thinking. The second thing is that now as Edgar gets tied to the hall of fame pickup bumper and drug through the Appalachian section of the cross-eyed voters, he’s missing three seasons or so, maybe 75 to 100 bombs, because of Woodenhead. They used to have Jimmy Presley Bobble-head night promotions back then. The first 50 people got one. Attendance was much lower then, which seems to be the target now.
Maury Wills during his period on high octane as the Mariner’s manager is discussed. It is a wonder they did not hire Max Patkin to run the team somewhere along the line.
If he were not dead, Patkin that is, it would be possible. Wait, no, maybe…Weekend at Bernie’s joins the Mariners maybe? I don’t know who to suggest for fear I really offend somebody…
Ever since Zduriencik uttered his famous last words of “Let’s not kid ourselves!” His statement about how utterly terrible the Ms will be this year, he has disappeared. Stone did some sock puppet stuff with him this morning, but mum’s the word, now.
Son of Chuck is out saying all this gibberish, unchecked and you wish somebody would vomit on him, just to stop it.
There is so much to watch, despite all of this, do your best to enjoy the young players.
