Sound Fest

As the headlining act of Bumbershoot this year (Monday at 9:15 p.m. on the Mainstage), Death Cab has been getting a lot of attention. Having an new album, “Narrow Stairs,” that launched with a top spot on the Billboard charts certainly helped, too.

But before all the adulation, the national fame, the sweaty-palmed, changed-life little hipster girls, there was (and in most respects still is) this everyday guy who kicked it around Bremerton. He talked with us in April about his Oly (as in Olympic High School) experience for a story where we also pulled out is high school yearbook pics (we are so sorry, Ben, we just couldn’t help ourselves). He also said a few words about the new album Q&A style.
