Snowmageddon?
November 28th, 2010 by jennyonthespotI saw the term “snowmageddon” being used on Twitter and felt it was fitting. The snowstorm we had here the days before Thanksgiving was quite the event.
My husband’s trip home from the Bainbridge ferry took 6 hours… He walked MILES in snow. We lost power for 40 hours. Our pipes froze, but recovered without incident… We hit a car. But we fared well comparatively… Stacey took us in…
And then… dear friends had their whole home flooded due to the bursting of pipes in the ceiling. My dentist’s office experienced a similar fate.
County-wide, there is story after story after story being retold… about how our Kitsap people survived and are now recovering from The Great Snowmageddon of 2010.
This is Frosty. Even he (she?) has a story…
But when I went to interview him the following day, it was really hard understanding a thing he said. I couldn’t find his mouth… nor could I find his nose ANYWHERE!
We may never know the HIS full story…
