We’ve had a great season of candidate forums during this
election year, with 60 to 80 people attending most of our events.
But the Oct. 12 forum for contested county races was the best yet.
We had a standing-room-only crowd of more than 120 people at the
Norm Dicks Center in Bremerton. The crowd submitted questions and
watched as the following candidates squared off: Josh Brown and
Abby Burlingame for county commissioner, Russ Hauge and Bruce
Danielson for prosecutor, Greg Sandstrom and Pete Favazza for
coroner and John Armstrong and Linda Gabriel for PUD
commissioner.
If you missed it, you can catch it on BKAT at the following
times:
Oct. 14, 8 p.m.; Oct. 15, 1 p.m.; Oct. 17, 7 p.m.; Oct. 18, 10
p.m.
And don’t miss our final forum before ballots go out later this
week:
Thursday, Oct. 14: 9 a.m.– Noon, Eagles Nest,
Tax Issues on the Ballot
