Meet Future Leaders of Bremerton Tonight
October 12th, 2009 by lwvkitsapBremerton’s popular mayor Cary Bozeman is gone, leaving before
his term was up to take the top job at the Port of Bremerton. So
who will lead the city now?
If you live in Bremerton or are concerned about the leadership of
the county’s biggest city, check out the candidates for mayor and
city council at tonight’s League of Women Voters of Kitsap
Forum.
It’s at 7 p.m. at the Norm Dicks Government Center, 345 6th St., in
downtown Bremerton.
Candidates for mayor are Will Maupin and Patty Lent. City Council
candidates include Brad Gehring and Jim McDonald for District 1 and
Gentry Lange and Carol Arends for District 7. Running unopposed are
Adam Brockus for District 3, Greg Wheeler for District 5 and Nick
Wofford for District. 9.
