I am pleased to welcome Scott and Carolynn to the Bremerton School Board. They are great people that I have had many conversations with in the past several months. They will serve our kids and community well. I will be watching the Boynton/Galloway race very closely today. I am really hoping David wins. Galloway is riding mostly on name recognition, but the fact that the race is so very close is a warning shot across her bow that a very prevalent lack of confidence in her service and her record is only growing in this community. The new curriculum is very "old school" math. I am VERY happy to have it back and so are many of the parents and educators I have talked to. The previous curriculum of the past 9 years was frankly a load of crap. We combined our purchasing power with Central Kitsap for the same curriculum so they have it as well. Real math can be brought back.
