Tom Ahearne, lead attorney for NEWS – Network for Excellence in Washington Schools – will be on Bainbridge Monday Nov. 17 to talk about a lawsuit his group filed against the state. The suit asks the state to “fully fund” basic education in Washington public schools. Learn more about the controversial legal action here: http://www.waschoolexcellence.org/.
Ahearne will be hosted by the Bainbridge Island Education Association. The discussion begins at 4:30 pm in the Woodward Middle School Library.
