Home prices and sales activity in Kitsap County rose modestly in February compared to January, which experienced a very still local real-estate market.
The median closing sales price of a home in February was $240,000, up 7 percent from January, according to the Northwest Multiple Listing Service.
The 325 sales that were pending in February suggested more activity over the 259 pending sales in January.
And 514 homes came on the market in February, up from the 493 that were introduced in January. Some 1,714 single-family homes and condominiums were available for sale in Kitsap County in February, according to the service that tracks sales in most Western Washington counties.
Some of the median closing-sales prices in February included:
Bainbridge Island, $543,900
East Bremerton, $243,000
Kingston, $297,000
Port Orchard, 170,500
Poulsbo, $276,500
