It’s Friday and Wall Street’s down 230

NEW YORK (AP) — Wall Street retreated sharply from the previous session’s big gains Friday as investors absorbed another wave of downbeat economic news and took little comfort from hints that an additional interest rate cut might be possible. The Dow Jones industrials fell more than 230 points.
