November 13th, 2008 by rachel pritchett

Readers,

Zillow.com reports that home values fell 9.4 percent during the third quarter over same time last year, to $277,724; and that the five-year annualized home value change for Kitsap is at 6.7 percent. What is more, 7.5 percent of all Kitsap homeowners now have negative equity, according to Zillow.com. Some 10.7 percent of transactions in the past year in Kitsap were foreclosures, and that 13.5 percent of homes that sold here in the past were were sold at a loss. See my story later here.
