Wednesday’s Highlight Reel

Wednesday, April 7th, 2010

OK, we know we don’t have the capability to actually show you a highlight reel of the area’s best plays from high school games in Kitsap. So, we’ll do the next best thing. Here’s a small (thank you rain!) compilation of action from Tuesday.

Baseball

—Bainbridge’s JJ Willford went 3-for-3 with four RBI in an 11-4 loss to West Seattle.

Zane Minder hit a 3-run home run as NK beat Sequim 13-9.

—Klahowya’s Nick Torento‘s two-run double beat Oly 2-1.

Soccer

Chad Trask‘s goal in OT gave Kingston the win over Sequim, which lost for the first time.

—Two goals each by Nick Riders and Jonathan Ryder gave Bremerton a come-from-behind win over Oly, 6-2.

—Freshman Erin Kenney drove in three runs as Bainbridge pounded West Seattle 11-2.

Demiree Briones threw a no-hitter for Sequim in an 18-0 win over NK.
