Eric made us, the class of 1986, very proud. As our SK QB and as
The UW QB and as his friends and classmates we are thoroughly excited to see where he takes SKHS. I can see him at State and this to We will win. Yes he was trained by the best (Ed Fischer) he also had the opportunity of rubbing elbows with Maynard Lundberg when he was still our unofficial mascot/cheerleader. He can't go wrong there. And FYI to Mamie, Riggid is just another word for focused, structured and extremely determined. Which I and all of his classmates and friends and family have always known him to be. So lookout South Kitsap the class of 1986 is Howling up a storm of excitement for this particular Wolf! Way to Eric!!!!!!!

What a great move for SKHS!

Eric Canton is a true competitor. I remember watching him play in the state championship (King Bowl) game so many years ago. SK was behind late in the 4th quarter, and QB Canton did everything possible — including completing some great passes, and running the ball himself with the power of a fullback, and moves of a scat back — to win the game. Although SK fell short — or as Vince Lombardi once said, ran out of time — I was totally impressed with Canton's desire to win and his willingness to do whatever was necessary to make it happen. He played, and learned the game under the legendary Ed Fisher, and will be an excellent example for young, upcoming SK players.

I look forward to watching his success.

Can you say rigged from the start? No mention of his poor record at Bremerton, why is that? Or that his son is going to SK next year and is a quarterback. That seems like a conflic of interest for anyone else on the team

From Renton - Bainbridge scored the first two goals in the 3rd minute, just seconds apart. The second goal came when Hazen got caught off guard on the re-start. Fawley, Winship and Economy scored the goals....

Could you guys please post the final Olympic League soccer scoring totals? It was a pretty tight race between Nick Boles of Kingston and Colin Ralston of NM for the scoring title, late surge by Garrett Wilder of NK too. Would love to see the final totals posted in Prep Zone.

Netti,
Coaches were asked to submit cumulative stats to me by a certain day. Some coaches chose not to participate. What is listed is what was received from the coaches. There was a minimum at-bats of 19 as the only pre-requisite.
We will run stats again after the regular season ends.
