Kingston athletic director Jared Terrible said Thursday that the school has named Alec Grimm as the new football coach.
Grimm accepted the school’s offer to coach the Buccaneers on Wednesday, Terrible said. He’ll replace former coach W. Todd Harder, who resigned after four seasons.
Alec Grimm, a 2011 Bainbridge High graduate, is the son of former Bainbridge football coach Andy Grimm, who coached the Spartans for 18 seasons before leaving his post last fall.
It’s an interesting hire considering former Kingston assistant coach Jeff Rouser is replacing Andy Grimm at Bainbridge.
It wouldn’t be surprising to see Harder join Rouser’s staff at Bainbridge or see Andy Grimm join his son’s staff at Kingston.
