Kingston hires new head coach for wrestling

Kingston High School has hired Britton Johnson as its new wrestling coach. Johnson is a former assistant coach at Bainbridge.
Wayne Gizzi, a former head coach at Klahowya, coached Kingston last season before accepting the head coach position at Bremerton this summer.
Former Kingston assistant wrestling coach Tim Larson is the new coach at North Kitsap. He replaces Joey Amick.
Klahowya’s vacant wrestling position is still open.
Other vacant head coaching positions around the area include South Kitsap girls soccer, Port Angeles boys basketball, Port Townsend boys soccer and Klahowya bowling.
