South Kitsap baseball player Mac McCarty has committed to play at Washington State. As a junior during the spring, McCarty helped the Wolves reach the Class 4A state championship game for the second consecutive year.
McCarty was the Narrows League pitcher of the year. He finished the season with an 11-2 record.
McCarty took an official visit to WSU a month ago. Central Washington and St. Martin’s were two other schools he was considering.
