One-stop shopping for Saturday playoff updates

Baseball:
South Kitsap dispatches Lake Stevens 5-2 in a Class 4A regional opener. They beat Kentridge 2-1 to advance to the state semifinals for the second straight year.
Bainbridge beat Timberline 2-1 in the opener, but lost to Shorewood 1-0 in the regional title game.
North Kitsap was eliminated by Lake Washington 13-3.
Klahowya was knocked out by Centralia 2-1.

Softball:
Sequim beat Bremerton 10-0 to claim a spot at state.
Bremerton plays Kingston, a 4-3 loser to Orting, a 9 a.m. Sunday in a loser-out game.
Bremerton opened the day with a 16-7 win over Steilacoom. Kingston beat Lindbergh 5-3 in its opener.
In the 4A, South Kitsap beat Kenridge in the opener 5-4. The lost to Camas 4-1 in a winner-to-state game. They come back on Sunday to try and qualify through the loser bracket.

Tennis:
In 2A, Olympic’s Annemarie Herbert and Melina Johnson qualified for state for a second consecutive year. Herbert was fourth and Johnson fifth at districts.
