Here’s your Saturday playoff roundup

No. 1 Puyallup beat No. 3 South Kitsap 10-0 in five innings in the Class 4A West Central/Southwest bi-district title game.
Klahowya survived two loser out games and claimed a spot at regionals. Klahowya beat Sequim 4-2 in the final game.
Fife beat North Kitsap 65 in the Class 2A district third/fourth-place game. .

Kingston beat Franklin Pierce 1-0 to earn a spot at state. They play the Orting, which eliminated Klahowya 1-0.
North Kitsap beat Foster in a shootout 5-4 and is going to state. The Vikings will play Archbishop Murphy.

Track and field
The Central Kitsap girls 4×400 relay team of (Rose Christen, Mya King, Emma Gutierrez and Sophie Carroll) won the Narrows League title and broke the West Sound and meet record in the process, running in 3:55.99. Rose Christen won the 800 in a meet record time of 2:08.97 (and lowering her own West Sound record) and was named athlete of the meet.

    Happy to see Klahowya get back in the baseball playoffs. They had some great teams 4 or 5 years ago too, nice to see them clutching up and punching the ticket.
    Great job boys, I’ve been following the Eagles for several years, my son played for Dan Zuber in there first year.
