The Narrows and WESCO is a super-region. How many out to state?

  2. jeff graham Says:

Four get through to state from every regional tournament. In 4A, Region 1 (Wesco/Narrows, 18 teams) and Region 3 (SPSL North/South, 18 teams) are the two biggest. Region 2 (16 teams) and Region 4 (14 teams) are obviously a bit smaller.

  3. Bob Zornes Says:

Actually, Jeff, here is how it works for 4A in Narrows and WesCo:

In 4A wrestling, the #5 from Region 1 and 3 will advance to an entry match on Friday morning at Mat Classic. The winner of that match will advance into the first round of Mat Classic.

  4. B.Forster Says:

Kitsap representing well in the 4A and even better in the 2A. good luck to all competing and see ya at the Dome!

  5. Bob Zornes Says:

Good luck to your boy, too. We’ll be pulling for him tomorrow.

  6. Jeff Graham Says:

Thanks for the update Bob. Glad you said something, had no idea. Called Chad Nass tonight and he explained the situation. State and district have been really screwy with the allocations this year and not posting information anywhere. Even coaches are finding out this stuff late. Olympic League coaches only found out there were taking 3 to regionals instead of 4 about a week before subs. See you guys at CK tomorrow.

  7. Bob Zornes Says:

You’re welcome. And I also sent an email about Chad Nass and Josiah Kipperburg being voted Coach and Assistant Coach of the Year for the Narrows League. I don’t know if you got it though.
