NK slips out of state volleyball rankings

The North Kitsap Vikings fell out of the statewide volleyball rankings despite picking up its first two wins in the Olympic League season this week.

The Vikings were ranked ninth in the Class 2A poll by the Washington State Coaches Volleyball Association the last two weeks.

No area teams were ranked.

Class 4A—1, Bellarmine. 2, Central Valley. 3, Kentwood. 4, Emerald Ridge. 5, Mead. 6, Skyline. 7, Auburn Riverside. 8, Olympia. 9, Skyview. 10, Curtis.

Class 3A—Southridge. 2, Mercer Island. 3, University. 4, Shadle Park. 5, Kamiakin. 6, Kennedy. 7, Seattle Prep. 8, Prairie. 9, Holy Names. 10, Meadowdale.

Class 2A—1, Burlington-Edison. 2, Capital. 3, Selah. 4, Tumwater. 5, West Valley. 6, Sehome. 7, Ellensburg. 8, White River. 9, Sumner. 10, Pullman.
