Here are the top games upcoming for girls soccer. Honestly, it doesn’t get much better than Tuesday, Oct. 1 for regular season games.
Central Kitsap at South Kitsap: The Wolves (2-1-3, 0-0-2) are coming off three consecutive ties, including two against league foes Stadium and Olympia. Central Kitsap (0-4-0, 0-1-0) has only scored once in four games, but the Cougars always seem to play South Kitsap tough.
Bainbridge at Holy Names: Bainbridge dominated the Metro League during the regular season in 2012, but Holy Names went farther in state, reaching the semifinals and taking third overall. Holy Names has gotten off to a rough start, going 2-3 in its first five games. Bainbridge has won its first three.
North Kitsap at Klahowya: North Kitsap is off to a 7-0 start and the Vikings look like clear-cut favorites to win the Olympic League. Klahowya (4-2) has the top scoring tandem in the area with McKenzie Cook (8 goals, 5 assists) and Izzy Severns (6 goals, 8 assists).
