Girls Soccer Spotlight: Kingston hosting Klahowya

September 18th, 2013 by jeff graham

Kingston’s girls soccer team puts its unbeaten 3-0 record on the line Thursday when the Buccaneers host the Klahowya Eagles at 6:45 p.m.

Kingston opened with victories over Port Angeles, Bremerton and Sequim. Now the Bucs face the difficult part of their early-season schedule with Klahowya (3-1), North Mason (2-1)  and North Kitsap (4-0) up next.

Kingston’s defense has allowed two goals in three games, but could have its hands full against Klahowya, which features the dynamic scoring tandem of McKenzie Cook (4 goals, 5 assists) and Izzy Severns (4 goals, 6 assists).

Who’s got the advantage?
