Unbelievable. I can’t believe these people are charging this much to help kids get better as players. My dad and I traveled all around the Sound for years working with pitchers, catchers – any players wanting help and all he ever asked for was gas money, if they could afford. Some nights, we were lucky to leave with $20 to buy a cheap drive-thru dinner and we wouldn’t get home until 9-10pm. A lot of his girls went on to have great careers in college and semi-pro softball. What ever happened to helping for the sake of helping and continuing the great sport of Fastpitch Softball? I wish we still had men’s fastpitch in the area. Now that was exciting and fun!

@ debdub1965 if you were intuned with the cost of softball camps around the state the avarage cost per indavidual is around $250-$500 for just a one day camp let alone offer a team rate, This camp is not about making money it’s about the fundamentals of the sport instructed by LOCAL high school alumni around Kitsap county who have made it to the college level of play giving the young kids the chance to ask questions from REAL players on how to get to the next level or what to expect from college or High School coaches, I’ve talked to these instructors and all they want to do is give back to thier community and be and be role models of the sport, the camp fee pretty much covers the cost for the use of the gym facilities and fairground ballfields SO do the math who really benifits from this camp THE KIDS!!
