All you need to know for state basketball

Kitsap basketball teams may be done for the season (but don’t forget about Sequim), but there’s still a state basketball tournament to play.
Tourneys tip Friday at the Tacoma Dome, Yakima SunDome and Spokane Arena. Schedules are here.
Here’s a good column out of Vancouver about what to call the whole regional/state thing.
For the Class 4A tourneys, the Tacoma News Tribune ranked the boys and girls, and they did the same for the 3A boys and girls.
Rainier Beach, as always, is the favorite to win the 3A boys title, which would put coach Mike Bethea in record territory.
