Olympic sweeps Olympic League MVP awards
February 21st, 2013 by nathan joyceOlympic swept the MVP vote in the All-Olympic League basketball
teams.
Quentin Phillips won the MVP for the boys team. Phillips was second
in the league in scoring at 19.2 points per game. He also second in
the league with 3.1 steals.
Olympic boys coach Devin Huff was named coach of the year. The
Trojans will play Clover Park in the 2A regionals on Saturday at
Kent Meridian.
Ashli Payne was the girls MVP. She was second in the league with
18.7 points per game and averaged 10.9 rebounds, 2.4 assists and
3.1 steals. The Trojan girls are playing in the 2A regionals on
Friday night at Lynden against Burlington-Edison.
