Olympic League coaches pick Sequim, Port Angeles

are the favorites to win the Olympic League titles, according to
the preseason coaches poll.
The top four for both the boys and girls were close, which
hopefully will predict a tight race.

On the boys side Bremerton should get the nod. Just too many good athletes and too much skill. Sequim will be close, but not quite there.
For the girls, it’s going to be all Olympic. Noone can guard Ashli Payne and Lori Shaw will show once again that she is the best basketball coach on the peninsula, period.

Can’t complain about that comment. Ashli is a tremendous player and proved it again Tuesday in Sequim.

Hmmmm…. Ashli is a good player but it takes more than one player to win league, and Port Angeles is clearly the team to win. Undefeated and extremely talented. And PA will prove it Tomorrow in Sequim.
