Football: CK loses 10-7; Kingston plays at Sumner, Friday

Central Kitsap’s football season ended with a 10-7 loss to Roosevelt at Silverdale Stadium on Saturday. The Cougars finished 8-2. Roosevelt (7-3) will play play the Tahoma/Jackson winner on the road next week in a Class 4A state first-round game.

In 2A football playoff news, Kingston will play Sumner in a first-round state game on Friday at Sumner’s Sunset Chev Stadium. Kickoff: 7 p.m.

Bremerton will host Archbishop Murphy in a first-round game, but the day, time and site have not been announced.
