The Washington Interscholastic Activities Association announced Crosspoint Academy’s volleyball and boys country teams were named the Class 2B state academic champions for the fall season.

The academic award goes to the team with the highest grade point average within their classification. The volleyball team had a cumulative GPA of 3.902. The boys cross country team had a GPA of 3.849.

It’s the second straight year the boys cross country team earned the award. Crosspoint’s boys track and field also earned the honor in 2011.
