Volleyball update: Bainbridge ranked No. 5 in state poll

Bainbridge’s volleyball team moved up one spot to No. 5 in the Class 3A Washington state coaches poll, released Monday.

Bainbridge is the only West Sound team to be ranked. Sequim was ranked in 2A last week, but was left off the poll this week.

Here’s the rankings:

Class 4A—1, Mead. 2, Jackson. 3, Curtis. 4, Bellarmine. 5, Camas. 6, Olympia. 7, Newport. 8, Richland. 9, Auburn-Riverside. 10, Puyallup.

Class 3A—1, Mercer Island. 2, Prairie. 3, Mount Si. 4, Kamiakin. 5, Bainbridge. 6, Timberline. 7, Mount Spokane. 8, University. 9, Kennedy. 10, Kennewick.

Class 2A—1, Tumwater. 2, West Valley (Yakima). 3, Anacortes. 4, Colville. 5, Burlington-Edison. 6, Selah. 7, Capital (Olympia). 8, Sehome. 9, Ridgefield. 10, Mark Morris.

Class 1A—1, Chelan. 2, Castle Rock. 3, Freeman. 4, Lakeside. 5, Cascade (Leavenworth). 6, King’s (Shoreline). 7, King’s Way Christian. 8, Brewster. 9, Kalama. 10, Woodlands.
