Bainbridge volleyball clinches division title, district berth
October 17th, 2012 by Annette GriffusThe Bainbridge Spartans won the Metro League Mountain Division with a 3-2 win over Lakeside on the island to finish the league season at 8-2.
Game scores were 11-25, 21-25, 25-18, 25-20, 15-7.
The Spartans (11-3) earned the No. 1 seed from the Mountain and will play in the semifinals of the league tournament Oct. 27 at Chief Sealth HS against a yet to-be-determined opponent. That match is scheduled for 11 a.m.
Bainbridge has already secured its berth to the Sea-King District tournament and is playing for seeding.
