The South Kitsap volleyball team will hold a Dig Pink for breast cancer awareness night Oct. 18 against No. 5 Bellarmine Prep.

The Narrows League match begins at 7 p.m. with the doors opening at 6 p.m. Admission is $7 with all proceeds going to the Side-out Foundation, which was established in 2004 to promote awareness, education and patient services.

Players will be wearing pink t-shirts, which are on sale for the cost of admission. T-shirts are for sale at the high school, Manchester Family Inn and will be available at the door.

There will be a silent auction in the foyer of the high school where fans can bid during the match. SK raised a total of $30,000 in 2009 and 2010.
