Narrows League 4A gets four spots to district tournament
September 26th, 2012 by nathan joyceThis year it’s taking a lot longer to finalize playoff spots. I
did find out what the Narrows League gets. The 4A division gets
four spots into the West Central/Southwest District tournament in
all sports, Central Kitsap athletic director Bill Baxter said.
That also means four football playoff spots into the Class 4A
preliminary round.
We were originally told the Narrows would share a berth and get
four spots one year and a third another. Next year hasn’t been
decided, Baxter said, and it’s not known whether three or four
berths will be available.
The allocations from the district to state is eight this year and
seven next year.
The 3A Narrows League and the Olympic League are still not
announced. North Kitsap athletic director Chris Franklin said he’s
going to a meeting Friday on playoffs and it will be presumably
announced then.
