Girls Soccer: Next week’s key games

Monday, Sept. 10: Three of last year’s top scorers will be on the field when Crosspoint plays in Port Townsend at 5 p.m. Crosspoint sophomores Emma Laurion (25) and Desere’e Doty (24) combined for 49 goals last season and were the top two West Sound scorers, while Port Townsend’s Irina Lyons scored 13 regular-season goals to lead all Olympic League players.

Tuesday, Sept. 11: Klahowya takes on Port Angeles at 6:30 p.m. The Eagles begin the season favored to win their third straight Olympic League title, but don’t sleep on the Roughriders, who are looking to qualify for the postseason for the fourth consecutive season.

Thursday: Sept. 13: South Kitsap opens Narrows League play at home against Stadium at 7 p.m. Last year, the  Wolves grabbed the last playoff spot in the league by finishing fourth, one spot ahead of Stadium.

    Soccer is the number 1 sport on earth. It is exciting to watch and playing it is so much fun. If you are a new comer to this kind of sport, studying soccer terms is the best way to really enjoy as well as get pleasure from the game a lot more. As you become accustomed to the terms, you will soon be hooked far more with the game and ride the emotions experienced by million of its supporters.
