Klahowya football offering another mom’s clinic

August 15th, 2012 by nathan joyce

For the second straight year, Klahowya Secondary School will hold a football clinic for moms and grandmas of players in grades seven and above.
The free clinic is Saturday from 1-3 p.m. at Klahowya.
Coach Dan Ericson said they will talk about concussions, nutrition, gear, and more.
“Mom’s enjoy learning about plays,” he said. “And this year they said they want to learn more about penalties — why we have them and what they mean.”
As they did a year ago, moms that want to will have the opportunity to put gear on and go through some drills on the field.
“We’ll let ‘em catch a pass and do agility stuff,” Ericson said.
