We’re not that far away from the opening week of the high school football season, and there’s some interesting non-league games on tap for Friday, Aug. 31.

Central Kitsap visits Bainbridge, South Kitsap hosts Kentridge and North Kitsap goes across the water to take on perennial powerhouse Archbishop Murphy.
