CK’s Lee wins state golf title

May 25th, 2011 by nathan joyce

Central Kitsap’s Erynne Lee blew away the field to win the Class 4A state girls golf title. Lee shot a 66 on the second day and won by eight strokes.
Erynne’s sister Katie finished sixth.

Bainbridge’s Carl Jonson finished second, trailing by just a stroke.

Complete results are here. We’ll have more later.

Somewhat confused. So, “Lee shot a 66 on the second day and won by eight strokes…Bainbridge’s Carl Jonson finished second, trailing by just a stroke.” I must have missed a math class someplace. Obviously some editor can’t seem to leave key words like “girls title” and “boys” in the very shortend article? Or the author messed up?
