Bellevue advanced to this game by beating No. 7 Liberty to clinch the KingCo 3A title. Bellevue put itself firmly on the football map in 2004 by beating De La Salle of Concord, Calif., and its national-record 151-game winning streak. Quarterback/safety Kendrick Van Ackeren is the man for the Wolverines.
Kingston is playing the Lindbergh Eagles at Renton Stadium on Friday. Lindbergh is the top 2A school in the Class 3A/2A Seamount League. It advanced to this by pounding Foster last week.
Port Angeles and Sequim are playing South Puget Sound League 2A schools. PA will play Sumner, which ended in a three-way tie for the SPSL lead. Sequim plays Washington, which won in the final week to squeak into the playoffs.
Chimacum is at Nooksack Valley, which has overcome injuries to make the playoffs.
