DiG PiNK A Success

November 26th, 2009 by Annette Griffus

The first DiG PiNK volleyball match at South Kitsap High School last month during breast cancer awareness was a resounding success.

More than 800 fans packed the SK gym to watch the Wolves take on the Olympic Trojans as well as to bid on items for the silent auction — which had items donated by Port Orchard businesses and reidents — and a live auction by auctioneer, Pat Oster.

The event raised $11,630.90 for cancer research, awareness and education.
