Bremerton Football Game Moved Up a Day

October 6th, 2009 by nathan joyce

Bremerton’s (1-4, 0-3) game against North Thurston (4-1, 3-0) was moved from Friday to Thursday.
Because of mis-communication, Bremerton didn’t find out about the change until Monday.
“Had he not emailed me, asking for the roster, I would have gotten call on Thurdday saying where are you,” Bremerton athletic director George Duarte said, referring to North Thurston’s AD.
The game is 7 p.m. at South Sound Stadium in Lacey.
In other Bremerton news, the Knights have hired Al Valencia as their girls basketball coach. Valencia, among his many coaching stops, was the junior varsity coach at Olympic.
