South Kitsap Hosts Tennis Invite Saturday
September 25th, 2009 by Annette GriffusSouth Kitsap will be hosting one of the largest tennis tournaments, beginning at 8 a.m. Saturday.
The Fall Tennis Invite includes Central Kitsap, Enumclaw, Mountain View (defending champion), North Mason, North Kitsap, Port Angeles, South Kitsap and Sumner.
“This is the largest one-day tournament allowed by WIAA rules,” said tourney director Don Patraw. “(The tourney) gives a lot of players who might not have a chance to experience tournament play to get the feel of what they will be facing with league tournaments coming up.”
