Narrows League Expanding, Adding Class 3A Teams
September 25th, 2009 by nathan joyceThe Narrows League will look dramatically different next
year.
The league voted this week to become a multiple-classification
league and will expand by four teams, South Kitsap athletic
director Ed Santos said on Friday night.
The Narrows League will absorb the four remaining Western Cascade
Conference teams: North Thurston, Timberline, Yelm and Capital, all
Class 3A teams.
That will make the Narrows League, which was founded in 1979, as a
15-team league.
