Now that I have this blog, I need to fill it with something.
Something I’d like to do regularly is take a look at the coming
week and tell you what the top games are.
So without further adu…
Monday
Top game of the day is Central Kitsap at Gig Harbor fastpitch at
3:45 p.m. CK has taken over first place in the Bridge Division. Gig
Habor is a team just behind.
Tuesday
Gig Harbor at South Kitsap, baseball at 3:45 p.m.: The Wolves have
been playing well of late, pulling into third place. The Tides are
tied with CK for first place. The two teams also play on Wednesday.
This is a key series in the Bridge Division race. If the Tides win,
they’ll face CK for the league title next week. The Wolves still
have a shot at the league title, too, but they need to win
these.
Wednesday
South Kitsap at Gig Harbor, soccer at 3:30 p.m. This is the best
soccer rivalry in the area, with both teams normally battling for
the league title. The Tides are bit down this year, but they’ll
still get up for the Wolves.
Thursday
It’s a good day to watch some track. Bremerton and North Kitsap are
at Gig Harbor. South Kitsap is at Central Kitsap. Both should be
decent meets.
Friday
Couple options here. Central Kitsap plays North Kitsap in a 3:30
fastpitch game that is a matchup of playoff teams. Also, Central
Kitsap plays Olympic in a 7:30 soccer game. Both teams are in the
hunt for a playoff spot, and this could be an important win.
Saturday
The South Kitsap Track and Field Invitational gets going at 11 a.m.
This is the county’s biggest (regular season) track meet.

This is the fourth game in a row where nothing shows up about North Kitsap’s baseball game. What’s up with that?
