MOVIES: Take THAT, Spider-Man !!

According to Associated Press reports, "The Dark Knight" set an all-time box-office record its first day on screen. Surprise, surprise.

Quote AP’s David Germain: "Stoked by fan fever over the manic performance of the late Heath Ledger as the Joker, “The Dark Knight” set a one-day box office record with $66.4 million on opening day, Warner Bros. head of distribution Dan Fellman said Saturday.
The movie’s Friday haul surpassed the previous record of $59.8 million set last year by “Spider-Man 3.” “The Dark Knight” might break the opening-weekend record of $151.1 million, also held by “Spider-Man 3.”

Concert by Invite Only

Hey, gang …

You know that "Team Innovative Landscape Summer Concert Series" item we have in our July 18 Kitsap Calendar, both in Kitsap A&E and online at kitsapsun.com ?

We-he-hell, it shouldn’t be there. Turns out it’s not a "concert series" at all, but a private party for for employees and guests. So don’t go tonight. Unless, of course, you have an invite.
