I just learned that the Silverdale Chamber of Commerce is hosting a forum on Silverdale Incorporation from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Silverdale Beach Hotel.

The forum will feature two people for incorporation — from the Citizens United for Silverdale group — and two people against the effort. I’m not sure who both people against will be, but I was told Jerry VanFossen, a 30-year Silverdale resident who lives off Bucklin Hill Road, will for sure be one of the people on the opposition’s side.

VanFossen has been against Silverdale incorporation every time it’s proposed.

Again the meeting is Thursday (tomorrow) from 6 to 8 p.m. And it sounds like both sides will take questions from the audience and answer questions.
