Here are the meeting agendas for the week:
Kitsap County Commissioners (meet at 619 Division Street, Port Orchard)
Monday, Dec. 12: No morning meeting.
2 p.m.: Commissioners will get a 10 minute update on the Resource Conservation manager; they’ll review Kingston Village Green senior housing for 30 minutes; they’ll take up the 10 Limited Apparel Businesses discussion for 45 minutes; and then move on to Title 16 land division and development: Revised BLA language for 30 minutes and end the meeting with a 30 minute legislative briefing with Tom McBride.
Wednesday, Dec. 14, 8:30 a.m.: The board will
review the agenda for its Dec. 19 meeting for 45 minutes; then
conduct information sharing for 45 minutes; next will be an update
on the Poulsbo sewer service contract; and then review the
Ruckelshaus Bill ESHB 1886 with Dave Greetham from 10:30 to 11
a.m.; from 11 to 11:30 a.m. the board will review the Countwide
Trails Plan and then recess into executive session to discuss real
estate until noon.
City of Bremerton (meets at 345 Sixth Street, Bremerton)
Wednesday, Dec. 14, 4 p.m.: Note the special meeting
time. From 4 to 5:30 p.m. the council
will meet for general business upstairs in 603. They’ll reconvene
at 5:30 p.m. downstairs and discuss the 2012 budget, continuing
their discussion from Dec. 7. Following the meeting the council
will reconvene for its work study session to discuss the following
items: Construction Contract for Park Avenue alley improvements as
part of the Park Avenue Plaza Phase II Project(No action
anticipated until January 4, 2012); Construction Contract for Park
Avenue Plaza 4th Street West surface improvements as part of the
Park Avenue Plaza Phase II Project (No action anticipated until
January 4, 2012); Proposed ordinance to amend Chapters 10.10 and
10.11 relating to parking enforcement; Proposed ordinance to amend
Ordinances No. 5133 and No. 5153 modifying the 2011 Annual City of
Bremerton Budget; Firefighter’s Labor Contract (This item is
tentative…Contract is proposed for ratification on Tuesday,
December 13, 2011).

Tuesday, Dec. 13, 7 p.m.: Items on the night’s
agenda include a presentation to Mayor Coppola and Councilmember
Olin; Oaths of Office: Councilmembers-Elect Lucarelli, Childs,
Colebank, and Clauson; the one public hearing is on 2011 Amendments
to the Port Orchard Comprehensive Plan; Business items include:
Approval of the 2012 Budget; Adoption of Ordinance No. 022-11,
recognizing governmental accounting standards board statement 54,
establishing and renaming funds; Adoption of Ordinance No. 023-11,
approving 2011 amendments to the Port Orchard Comprehensive Plan;
Adoption of Ordinance No. 024-11, reestablishing Port Orchard
Municipal Code Chapter 2.24 “Park Commission”; Adoption of
